Repentance is a change of mind and of heart with regard to sin, so that there is a turning away from sin (Matt. 27:3; 2Cor. 7:9,10). Repentance is necessary to Salvation (Matt. 3:2,8; 4:17).悔改是罪的头脑和心脏的变化,所以有一个转折点远离罪(太27:3; 2Cor 7:9,10)。悔改是必要的救赎(马太福音3时02分8 4:17)。

There are three Greek words used in the New Testament to denote repentance.有三个希腊字在新约中用来表示悔改。(1.) The verb metamelomai is used of a change of mind, such as to produce regret or even remorse on account of sin, but not necessarily a change of heart.
