Baghdad and Cairo were the chief centres of the Shafi'iyyah. Bagdad und Kairo waren die wichtigsten Zentren der Shafi'iyyah. Shafi'iyyah

it was Al-Shafi`i (767-820) who brought greater clarity to the different bases for legal decisions.
