The Shepherd of Hermas El Pastor de Hermas

Hermas (flourished 140 AD) was a Christian writer who was considered one of the Apostolic Fathers, noted for his vivid description of early Christianity. Hermas (floreció 140 dC) fue un escritor cristiano que fue considerado uno de los Padres Apostólicos, señaló por su vívida descripción de los principios de la cristiandad. Hermas's book, The Shepherd, is a series of revelations granted to him through two heavenly figures, an old woman and an angel who assumed the form of a shepherd. The work is divided into 3 sections with 5 visions (on penance and doctrine), 12 precepts (on morality), and 10 parables (on principles of Christian living).
