The versatility of being able to install it upstairs, downstairs, in an attached garage or cellar; of using it as a room heater, as an add-on furnace, or as a separate furnace; of being able to enjoy the fire thru glass doors; make it the best stove on the market. Since it has the capability of heating even very large houses, and since the B-3B has a firebox that will take large pieces of wood, you get long, even heating just like a regular furnace. 3-Glass-Sided Fireplace-Furnace Units

B-3C

A variation on the B-3B structure that has glass on three sides for enjoying the fire from all parts of the room. The B-3C is a focal point of any room. The unit sits on a firebrick-and-masonry firepit (not included) to combine the massiveness of masonry with the modern appearance and performance of a JUCA. The C-models have an open bottom and MUST be installed only on masonry (NO wood under unit). This combination of our unit and the masonry base allows you the flexibility of installing an ash dump; an outside air intake; a gas line for a log-starter; etc. The D- models do not offer all these choices. Use the D- models (below) for applications over a wood floor.

C-7

This shorter version of a B-3C is for applications where the full capabilities of the B-3C are not needed and/or where the size of the B-3C might overly dominate the room. The same floor restriction of the B-3C applies. Use model D-7 over a wood floor.

One layer of heat exchanger tubes is eliminated in this model.

Built-In Fireplace-Furnaces

F-9A

This built-in version of the JUCA high-efficiency wood burning furnace combines the performance of a good furnace with the attractiveness of a fireplace. This unit allows enjoyment of a cozy fire and the heating of the whole house at the same time. The efficiency of our built-in models is much higher than anything else currently on the market. The F-9 was approved to UL standards and got BOCA listing.

There is flexibility of installing an ash dump; an outside air intake; a gas line for a log lighter or gas logs.

The F-9A facing is a popular brass door assembly. We offer over 1,500 facing styles and finishes. The F-9A price includes very nice doors.

The F-9A can also be made with any or all of the dimensions changed. For example, over-width units have been made with virtually every width up to over 60" wide firebox. Most people stay with increments of 6". (36", 42", 48", 54", etc).

F-9A-R

All F-9A-R models have a steel rear door to allow feeding the fire from a garage or utility room behind the JUCA.

The rear door is usually sized with an opening of 21" wide and 15" high.

Specifications same as F-9A except wt is 40 lbs more; output 15,000 less.

F-9A-X

All F-9A-X models have glass doors on two opposite sides for see-thru applications. The fire may be fed and enjoyed from both rooms.

The doors and appearance from the two sides do NOT have to be the same. For example, one side could be rectangular and the other side could be an arch-top appearance.

Specifications same as F-9A except depth is 30"; output 40,000 less.
