Martin Luther wrote his Small Catechism, a simple manual of instruction in the Christian faith, in 1529 after one of the great disappointments of his life. كتب مارتن لوثر الصغير التعليم المسيحي ، وهو دليل بسيط من التعليم في الايمان المسيحي ، في 1529 بعد واحدة من خيبة الأمل كبيرة من حياته. In the second place, after they have well learned the text, then teach them the sense also, so that they know what it means, and again choose the form of these tables, or some other brief uniform method, whichever you like, and adhere to it, and do not change a single syllable, as was just said regarding the text; and take your time to it. But if you do not urge this, or make a law or a bane of it, it is your fault if they despise the Sacrament. Answer. الجواب. -- We should fear and love God that we may not craftily seek to get our neighbor's inheritance or house, and obtain it by a show of [justice and] right, etc., but help and be of service to him in keeping it. -- علينا ان الخوف والحب لله اننا قد لا باحتيال تسعى للحصول على جار تراثنا أو المنزل ، والحصول عليها عن طريق إظهار العدالة [والحق] ، وما إلى ذلك ، ولكن مساعدة وتكون في خدمة له في ابقائها.

Answer. الجواب. -- We should fear and love God that we may not estrange, force, or entice away our neighbor's wife, servants, or cattle, but urge them to stay and [diligently] do their duty. -- علينا ان الخوف والحب لله أننا قد لا قصى ، والقوة ، أو اغراء بعيدا زوجة جارة لنا ، والموظفين ، أو ماشية ، ولكنه حثهم على البقاء و[بجد لا] واجبهم.

Answer. الجواب. -- God threatens to punish all that transgress these commandments. -- الله يهدد بمعاقبة كل ما يتعدى هذه الوصايا. Therefore we should dread His wrath and not act contrary to these commandments. But He promises grace and every blessing to all that keep these commandments. ولذلك ينبغي أن نخشى صاحب الغضب وعدم القيام بأعمال تخالف هذه الوصايا ، ولكن وعود كل نعمة نعمة وللجميع ان يبقي هذه الوصايا. Answer. الجواب. -- We pray in this petition that our Father in heaven would not look upon our sins, nor deny such petitions on account of them; for we are worthy of none of the things for which we pray, neither have we deserved them; but that He would grant them all to us by grace; for we daily sin much, and indeed deserve nothing but punishment. -- ونحن نصلي في هذا الالتماس أن أبانا الذي في السموات لن ننظر الى ذنوبنا ، ولا ينكر مثل هذه الالتماسات على حساب منهم لاننا تستحق أي من الأمور التي نحن نصلي ، لا يكون لهم أننا نستحق ، ولكن أن وأضاف أنه منح لهم جميعا لنا نعمة ؛ لأننا الخطيئة اليومية من ذلك بكثير ، وتستحق في الواقع سوى العقاب. Answer. الجواب. -- That I should be certain that these petitions are acceptable to our Father in heaven and heard; for He Himself has commanded us so to pray, and has promised that He will hear us. -- أن أكون على يقين من أن هذه الالتماسات وتكون مقبولة لدى أبانا الذي في السموات ، واستمعت لانه هو نفسه قد أمرنا حتى للصلاة ، ووعد انه سوف يسمع لنا. First. أولا. What is Baptism? ما هي المعمودية؟
Answer. الجواب. -- Baptism is not simple water only, but it is the water comprehended in God's command and connected with God's Word. -- المعمودية ليست بسيطة الماء فقط ، ولكن من الماء في فهمها لأمر الله وعلاقة لكلمة الله.
Which is that word of God? وهي ان كلمة الله؟
Answer. الجواب. -- Christ, our Lord, says in the last chapter of Matthew: Go ye into all the world and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. -- المسيح ، وربنا يقول في الفصل الاخير من ماثيو : اذهبوا الى العالم اجمع وتلمذوا جميع الامم وعمدوهم باسم الآب والابن ، والروح القدس.
Secondly. ثانيا. What does Baptism give or profit? ماذا يعني اعطاء التعميد أو الربح؟
Answer. الجواب. -- It works forgiveness of sins, delivers from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who believe this, as the words and promises of God declare. -- وهو يعمل مغفرة الخطايا ، ويسلم من الموت والشيطان ، ويعطي الخلاص الأبدي لجميع الذين يؤمنون بذلك ، كما الكلمات والوعود من الله يعلن.
Which are such words and promises of God? التي هي مثل هذه الكلمات والوعود من الله؟
Answer. الجواب. -- Christ, our Lord, says in the last chapter of Mark: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. -- المسيح ، وربنا يقول في الفصل الاخير من مارك : وقال انه يؤمن بان هو عمد يتم حفظها ، ولكن الذي لا يؤمن يدن.
Thirdly. ثالثا. How can water do such great things? كيف يمكن للمياه نفعل أشياء عظيمة من هذا القبيل؟

Fourthly. رابعا. What does such baptizing with water signify? ماذا يعني هذا يعني تعميد بالماء؟
Answer. الجواب. -- It signifies that the old Adam in us should, by daily contrition and repentance, be drowned and die with all sins and evil lusts, and, again, a new man daily come forth and arise; who shall live before God in righteousness and purity forever. -- إنه يعني أن لنا في آدم ، ينبغي القديمة من الندم والتوبة اليومية ، أن يموت غرقا ومع جميع الخطايا والشهوات الشريرة ، ومرة أخرى ، وهو رجل الجديدة تأتي يوميا ذهابا وتنشأ ؛ الذي يحيا أمام الله في البر و نقاء إلى الأبد.

Confession embraces two parts: the one is, that we confess our sins; the other, that we receive absolution, or forgiveness, from the confessor, as from God Himself, and in no wise doubt, but firmly believe, that our sins are thereby forgiven before God in heaven. اعتراف يشمل جزأين : واحد هو ان اعترفنا بخطايانا ، وغيرها ، التي نتلقاها الغفران ، أو الصفح ، من المعترف ، كما من الله نفسه ، والحكمة في شك ، ولكن نعتقد اعتقادا راسخا ، أن خطايانا وبالتالي المغفور له امام الله في السماء.
What sins should we confess? ما هي الذنوب وينبغي أن نعترف؟
Before God we should plead guilty of all sins, even of those which we do not know, as we do in the Lord's Prayer. أمام الله علينا أن يقر بأنه مذنب في جميع الذنوب ، حتى تلك التي لا نعرف ، كما نفعل في الرب للصلاة. Answer. الجواب. -- You should speak to the confessor thus: Reverend and dear sir, I beseech you to hear my confession, and to pronounce forgiveness to me for God's sake. -- يجب عليك التحدث الى كاهن الاعتراف بذلك : القس وسيدي العزيز ، أنا ألتمس لكم لسماع اعترافي ، ونطق لي مغفرة لفي سبيل الله.

I, a poor sinner, confess myself before God guilty of all sins; especially I confess before you that I am a man-servant, a maidservant, etc. الأول ، آثم الفقراء ، والاعتراف بالذنب نفسي أمام الله من كل الذنوب ، خصوصا أن أعترف أمامكم بأنني رجل ، خادمة ، وهي خادمة ، إلخ. A master or mistress may say thus: ويجوز للسيد أو سيدة ويقول هكذا :
In particular I confess before you that I have not faithfully trained my children, domestics, and wife [family] for God's glory. وعلى وجه الخصوص أن أعترف أمامكم بأنني لم يدرب بإخلاص أولادي ، خدم المنازل ، و [لأسرة زوجة لمجد الله. But if any one does not find himself burdened with such or greater sins, he should not trouble himself or search for or invent other sins, and thereby make confession a torture, but mention one or two that he knows. ولكن إذا كان أحد لا يجد نفسه مثقلة أو أكبر مثل هذه الآثام ، يجب ان لا مشكلة في البحث عن نفسه أو اختراع أو غيرها من الذنوب ، ومن ثم تقديم اعتراف والتعذيب ، ولكن أذكر واحدة أو اثنتين انه يعرف. Thus: In particular I confess that I once cursed; again, I once used improper words, I have once neglected this or that, etc. Let this suffice. وهكذا : وعلى وجه الخصوص أود أن أعترف بأنني لعن مرة أخرى ، وكنت مرة واحدة عبارة غير لائق ، مرة واحدة وأهمل هذا او ذاك ، وما إلى ذلك وليكن هذا كافيا.
But if you know of none at all (which, however is scarcely possible), then mention none in particular, but receive the forgiveness upon your general confession which you make before God to the confessor. ولكن اذا كنت تعرف من لا شيء على الاطلاق ، ولكن من الممكن نادرا) ، ثم أذكر منها (لا شيء على وجه الخصوص ، ولكن الحصول على اعتراف عامة على الصفح الخاص بك الذي جعل لكم أمام الله لالمعترف.

The eyes of all wait upon Thee, O Lord; and Thou givest them their meat in due season; Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. أعين جميع الانتظار عند اليك يا رب ، وأنت ترزق لهم في لحومها بسبب موسم ؛ أنت يدك openest ، وsatisfiest رغبة كل شيء حي.

To satisfy the desire means that all animals receive so much to eat that they are on this account joyful and of good cheer; for care and avarice hinder such satisfaction. لتلبية رغبة يعني ان جميع الحيوانات تتلقى الكثير لأنهم يأكلون على هذا الحساب وبهيجه حسن يهتف ؛ للرعاية والطمع تعوق هذه الارتياح.
Then the Lord's Prayer, and the prayer here following: ثم الرب للصلاة ، والصلاة التالية هنا :
