It is generally agreed that the story of the death of Zacharias (chs. xxii-xxiv) does not properly belong to the text. ومن المتفق عليه عموما ان قصة وفاة زكريا (chs. والثاني والعشرون ، الرابع والعشرون) لا تنتمي إلى النص بشكل صحيح. 4 And Ioacim was sore grieved, and showed not himself to his wife, but betook himself into the wilderness, and pitched his tent there, and fasted forty days and forty nights, saying within himself: I will not go down either for meat or for drink until the Lord my God visit me, and my prayer shall be unto me meat and drink. 4 وIoacim قرحة حزنها ، وأظهر نفسه ليست زوجته ، ولكن betook نفسه الى البرية ، ونصب خيمته هناك ، وصام أربعين يوما وأربعين ليلة ، داخل نفسه قائلا : انا لن تنخفض اما بالنسبة للحوم أو لل اشربوا حتى الرب الهي زيارة لي ، وصلاتي تكون ILA لي اللحوم والشراب.
2 And the great day of the Lord drew nigh, and Judith her handmaid said unto her: How long humblest thou thy soul? 2 وتعادل في يوم عظيم من الرب اقترب منه ، وجوديث لها خادمة فقال لها : كم انت تواضعا خاصتك الروح؟ The great day of the Lord hath come, and it is not lawful for thee to mourn: but take this headband, which the mistress of my work gave me, and it is not lawful for me to put it on, forasmuch as I am an handmaid, and it hath a mark of royalty. هاث يوم عظيم من الرب القادمة ، وأنه لا يجوز قانونا للاليك حدادا على : ولكن اتخاذ هذا عقال ، الذي عشيقة عملي أعطاني ، وأنه غير قانوني بالنسبة لي لوضعها على ، ولما كان أنا هاث خادمة ، وأنه علامة على الملوك. And Anna said: Get thee from me. وقالت آنا : احصل اليك مني. Lo! لو! I have done nothing (or I will not do so) and the Lord hath greatly humbled me: peradventure one gave it to thee in subtlety, and thou art come to make me partaker in thy sin. لقد فعلت شيئا (او انني لن تفعل ذلك) ، والرب هاث كثيرا بالضاله لي : peradventure one أعطاه لاليك في دقة ، وانت تأتي الى الفن تجعلني المشارك في خاصتك الخطيئة And Judith said: How shall I curse thee, seeing the Lord hath shut up thy womb, to give thee no fruit in Israel? وقالت جوديث : كيف أعطي لعنة اليك ، لرؤية الرب هاث اخرس خاصتك رحم ، لأعطيك أي الفاكهة في إسرائيل؟
3 And Anna was sore grieved [and mourned with a great mourning because she was reproached by all the tribes of Israel. 3 وآنا قرحة حزنها [وحزن كبير مع الحداد لأنه كان اللوم عليها من قبل جميع القبائل من اسرائيل. And coming to herself she said: What shall I do? والمقبلة لنفسها قالت : ماذا أفعل؟ I will pray with weeping unto the Lord my God that he visit me]. سأصلي مع البكاء للرب إلهي أنه زيارة لي]. And she put off her mourning garments and cleansed (or adorned) her head and put on her bridal garments: and about the ninth hour she went down into the garden to walk there. وقالت انها وضعت قبالة ملابسها الحداد وتطهير (أو قلد) ووضع رأسها على ملابس الزفاف لها : ونحو الساعة التاسعة ذهبت إلى أسفل داخل الحديقة على المشي هناك. And she saw a laurel-tree and sat down underneath it and besought the Lord saying: O God of our fathers, bless me, and hearken unto my prayer, as thou didst bless the womb of Sarah, and gavest her a son, even Isaac. ورأت شجرة الغار وجلس تحتها وتمس الرب قائلا : يا رب من آبائنا ، وبارك لي ، واصغ اليه ILA صلاتي ، وأنت الذي يبارك رحم سارة ، وgavest لها ابنا ، حتى اسحق .
2 Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? 2 ويل لي ، حتى ما أنا شبهت؟ I am not likened unto the fowls of the heaven, for even the fowls of the heaven are fruitful before thee, O Lord. شبهت أنا لست بمعزل طيور السماء ، لأنه حتى الطيور من السماء تكون مثمرة قبل اليك ، يا رب. Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? ويل لي ، حتى ما أنا شبهت؟ I am not likened unto the beasts of the earth, for even the beasts of the earth are fruitful before thee, O Lord. لست أنا شبهت حتى وحوش الأرض ، حتى بالنسبة للحيوانات الأرض هي المثمر من قبل اليك ، يا رب. Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? ويل لي ، حتى ما أنا شبهت؟ I am not likened unto these waters, for even these waters are fruitful before thee, O Lord. لست أنا شبهت حتى هذه المياه ، لأنه حتى هذه المياه المثمر من قبل اليك ، يا رب.
3 Woe unto me, unto what am I likened? 3 ويل لي ، حتى ما أنا شبهت؟ I am not likened unto this earth, for even this earth bringeth forth her fruits in due season and blesseth thee, O Lord. لست أنا شبهت حتى هذه الأرض ، الأرض من أجل ذلك حتى bringeth يبين لها الثمار في الموسم بسبب وبينك blesseth ، يا رب.
2 And behold there came two messengers saying unto her: Behold Ioacim thy husband cometh with his flocks: for an angel of the Lord came down unto him saying: Ioacim, Ioacim, the Lord God hath hearkened unto thy prayer. 2 وها هناك جاء اثنان من السعاة ILA قائلا لها : ها زوج خاصتك Ioacim يأتي مع قطعان له : لملاك الرب نزل ILA له قائلا : Ioacim ، Ioacim ، هاث فسمع الرب لصلاتك. Get thee down hence, for behold thy wife Anna hath conceived. انزل وبالتالي ، ها خاصتك آنا زوجة هاث تصورها.
3 And Ioacim sat him down and called his herdsmen saying: Bring me hither ten lambs without blemish and without spot, and they shall be for the Lord my God; and bring me twelve tender calves, and they shall be for the priests and for the assembly of the elders; and an hundred kids for the whole people. سبت 3 وIoacim يديه وقدميه ، ودعا الرعاة قوله : أحضر لي اقرب ten حملان بلا عيب ولا دنس ، ويكون هؤلاء من أجل الرب إلهي ، وأحضر لي twelve العجول العطاء ، ويكون هؤلاء للكهنة ولل التجمع من شيوخ ؛ والاطفال hundred للشعب كله.
4 And behold Ioacim came with his flocks, and Anna stood at the gate and saw Ioacim coming, and ran and hung upon his neck, saying: Now know I that the Lord God hath greatly blessed me: for behold the widow is no more a widow, and she that was childless shall conceive. 4 وجاء ها Ioacim مع قطعان بلده ، وانا وقفت عند البوابة ورأيت Ioacim المقبلة ، وركض وعلق على عنقه ، وقال : أنا الآن أعرف أن الرب الاله هاث كثيرا المباركه لي : ها أرملة ليس أكثر أرملة ، وقالت ان ينجبوا تحبل. And Ioacim rested the first day in his house. واستراح في اليوم الأول Ioacim في منزله.
2 And her months were fulfilled, and in the ninth month Anna brought forth. تم الوفاء 2 ولها شهور ، وفي الشهر التاسع انا جلبت اليها. And she said unto the midwife: what have I brought forth? وقالت للرب القابلة : ما قد أحضرت اليها؟ And she said: A female. وقالت : إن الأنثى. And Anna said: My soul is magnified this day, and she laid herself down. وقالت آنا : يتم تضخيم نفسي هذا اليوم ، وقالت انها وضعت نفسها باستمرار. And when the days were fulfilled, Anna purified herself and gave suck to the child and called her name Mary. ومتى تم الوفاء أيام ، آنا طهارة وأعطى تمتص للطفل ، ودعا اسمها مريم.
2 And the first year of the child was fulfilled, and Ioacim made a great feast and bade the priests and the scribes and the assembly of the elders and the whole people of Israel. 2 وكان الوفاء في السنة الأولى للطفل ، وIoacim صنع وليمة كبيرة ودعت الكهنة والكتبة وجمعية الشيوخ والشعب كله من إسرائيل. And Ioacim brought the child to the priests, and they blessed her, saying: 0 God of our fathers, bless this child and give her a name renowned for ever among all generations. وجلبت Ioacim الطفل إلى الكهنة ، وأنها باركها ، قائلا : 0 الله من آبائنا ، وبارك هذا الطفل ويعطيها اسما تشتهر أي وقت مضى بين جميع الأجيال. And all the people said: So be it, so be it. وقال جميع الشعب : فليكن ، فليكن ذلك. Amen. آمين. And he brought her to the high priests, and they blessed her, saying: 0 God of the high places, look upon this child, and bless her with the last blessing which hath no successor. وأحضر لها لرؤساء الكهنة ، وانهم المباركه لها ، قائلا : 0 الله من أماكن مرتفعة ، ننظر الى هذا الطفل ، ويرزقها نعمة الماضي والتي لا هاث الخلف.
3 And her mother caught her up into the sanctuary of her bed chamber and gave her suck. اشتعلت 3 والدتها لها حتى في الحرم غرفة سريرها وأعطاها تمتص.
And Anna made a song unto the Lord God, saying: وقدمت أغنية آنا للرب الرب قائلا :
I will sing an hymn unto the Lord my God, because he hath visited me and taken away from me the reproach of mine enemies, and the Lord hath given me a fruit of his righteousness, single and manifold before him. وأنا أغني للرب ترنيمة الرب إلهي ، لأنه قد زارني واقتيد بعيدا عن اللوم لي من أعدائي ، وأعطاني الرب ثمرة بره ، واحدة ومتعددة قبله. Who shall declare unto the sons of Reuben that Anna giveth suck? فيعلن بمعزل ابناء روبن ان تمتص giveth أنا؟ Hearken, hearken, ye twelve tribes of Israel, that Anna giveth suck. اصغ اليه ، اصغ اليه ، وانتم twelve أسباط إسرائيل ، التي تمتص giveth آنا. And she laid the child to rest in the bed chamber of her sanctuary, and went forth and ministered unto them. وقالت انها وضعت الطفل في الراحة في غرفة النوم من ملاذ لها ، وذهب اليها ومخدومة لهم. And when the feast was ended, they sat them down rejoicing, and glorifying the God of Israel. وجلس عندما انتهى العيد ، عليهم ابتهاج ، ويسبحون الله من اسرائيل.
2 And the child became three years old, and Ioacim said: Call for the daughters of the Hebrews that are undefiled, and let them take every one a lamp, and let them be burning, that the child turn not backward and her heart be taken captive away from the temple of the Lord. 2 وأصبح الطفل من العمر ثلاث سنوات ، وIoacim قال : دعوة للبنات اليهود التي هي غير مدنس ، والسماح لهم باتخاذ كل واحد مصباح ، ودعوهم يكون الحرق ، أن الطفل لا يتحول الى الوراء واخذ قلبها الأسير بعيدا عن معبد الرب. And they did so until they were gone up into the temple of the Lord. وفعلوا ذلك لحين ذهبوا تصل الى معبد الرب.
And the priest received her and kissed her and blessed her and said: The Lord hath magnified thy name among all generations: in thee in the latter days shall the Lord make manifest his redemption unto the children of Israel. وتلقى الكاهن لها ، وقبلها وباركها ، وقال : الرب هاث تضخيم اسم خاصتك بين جميع الاجيال : اليك في خلال الأيام الأخيرة يجب أن الرب جعل له الفداء واضح حتى للأطفال إسرائيل. And he made her to sit upon the third step of the altar. وانه جعل لها على الجلوس على الخطوة الثالثة للمذبح. And the Lord put grace upon her and she danced with her feet and all the house of Israel loved her. ووضع الرب نعمة عليها ، وقالت انها رقصت مع قدميها وجميع بيت إسرائيل يحبها.
And Mary was in the temple of the Lord as a dove that is nurtured: and she received food from the hand of an angel. وكانت ماري في معبد الرب باعتباره حمامة هي التي تغذي : وقالت انها تلقت الغذاء من يد الملاك.
2 And when she was twelve years old, there was a council of the priests, saying: Behold Mary is become twelve years old in the temple of the Lord. 2 وعندما كانت في الثانية عشرة من عمره ، كان هناك مجلس الكهنة ، قائلا : ها هي مريم تصبح اثني عشر عاما في معبد الرب. What then shall we do with her? فماذا نفعل بعد ذلك معها؟ lest she pollute the sanctuary of the Lord. إنها خشية تلويث ملاذا من الرب. And they said unto the high priest: Thou standest over the altar of the Lord. وقالوا انهم حتى رئيس الكهنة : standest انت على مذبح الرب. 3 And the high priest took the vestment with the twelve bells and went in unto the Holy of Holies and prayed concerning her. (3) وتولى الكهنة في ثوب مع أجراس الثانية عشر وحتى ذهب في قدس الاقداس وصلى بشأن بلدها. And lo, an angel of the Lord appeared saying unto him: Zacharias, Zacharias, go forth and assemble them that are widowers of the people, and let them bring every man a rod, and to whomsoever the Lord shall show a sign, his wife shall she be. وبدا الصغرى ، ملاك الرب قائلا له : زكريا ، زكريا ، اذهب اليها والتي يتم تجميعها الأرامل من الشعب ، والسماح لهم تحقيق كل رجل قضيب ، وأيا كان الرب تظهر علامة وزوجته يجب أن تكون هي. And the heralds went forth over all the country round about Judaea, and the trumpet of the Lord sounded, and all men ran thereto. وذهب يبشر عليها خلال كل جولة حول البلاد اليهودية ، وبوق من الرب وبدا ، وجميع الرجال يدير بها.
2 And Joseph refused, saying: I have sons, and I am an old man, but she is a girl: lest I became a laughing-stock to the children of Israel. 2 ورفض يوسف ، قائلا : لدي أبناء ، وأنا رجل عجوز ، لكنها فتاة : خشية أن أصبحت أضحوكة للأطفال في إسرائيل. And the priest said unto Joseph: Hear the Lord thy God, and remember what things God did unto Dathan and Abiram and Korah, how the earth clave and they were swallowed up because of their gainsaying. وقال الكاهن جوزيف بمعزل : اسمعوا ربك الله ، وتذكر الأشياء الله لم بمعزل Dathan وأبيرام وقارون ، وكيف كانت العصا ابتلع الأرض وأنها تصل بسبب جدال بهم. And now fear thou, Joseph, lest it be so in thine house. And Joseph was afraid, and took her to keep her for himself. والخوف الآن انت ، جوزيف ، خشية أن يكون ذلك في بيتك ، وجوزيف كان خائفا ، وأخذها والاحتفاظ بها لنفسه. And Joseph said unto Mary: Lo, I have received thee out of the temple of the Lord: and now do I leave thee in my house, and I go away to build my buildings and I will come again unto thee. وقال جوزيف بمعزل مريم : ها انا قد وردت من أصل اليك معبد الرب : والآن يمكنني ترك اليك في بيتي ، وأنا أذهب بعيدا لبناء المباني بلدي وسآتي اليك مرة أخرى. The Lord shall watch over thee. يجب أن يسهر على الرب اليك.
[And at that season Zacharias became dumb, and Samuel was in his stead until the time when Zacharias spake again.] But Mary took the scarlet and began to spin it. [في هذا الموسم وأصبح زكريا البكم ، وصموئيل كان في مكانه حتى ذلك الوقت عندما تكلم زكريا مرة أخرى.] ولكن ماري أخذت القرمزي وبدأت تدور عليه.
And she looked about her upon the right hand and upon the left, to see whence this voice should be: and being filled with trembling she went to her house and set down the pitcher, and took the purple and sat down upon her seat and drew out the thread. وبدا انها عنها على اليد اليمنى وعلى اليسار ، لمعرفة من أين هذا الصوت يجب أن يكون : وتعبئتها يرتجف ذهابها الى منزلها والمنصوص عليها في جرة ، واتخذ الأرجواني وجلست على مقعدها ولفت خارج الموضوع.
2 And behold an angel of the Lord stood before her saying: Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found grace before the Lord of all things, and thou shalt conceive of his word. وقفت 2 وها الملاك من الرب قبل ان تقول لها : لا تخافي يا مريم لأنك وجدت نعمة يمتلك قبل الرب على كل شيء ، وانت سوف تصور كلمته. And she, when she heard it, questioned in herself, saying: Shall I verily conceive of the living God, and bring forth after the manner of all women? وانها ، عندما سمعت ذلك ، وتساءل في نفسه ، قائلا : لا أعرفه حقا تصور الله الحي ، وجلب اليها بعد نحو من جميع النساء؟ And the angel of the Lord said: Not so, Mary, for a power of the Lord shall overshadow thee: wherefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of the Highest. وقال ان ملاك الرب : ليس الأمر كذلك ، ماري ، لقوة الرب تطغى اليك : ولهذا السبب أيضا أن يسمى الشيء المقدس الذي يجب ان تكون من مواليد اليك الابن من أعلى. And thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. وانت سوف تدعو اسمه يسوع لانه يخلص شعبه من خطاياهم. And Mary said: Behold the handmaid of the Lord is before him: be it unto me according to thy word. وقالت مريم : ها أنا أمة الرب قبله : سواء كان ذلك فقال لي بحسب قولك.
2 And Mary rejoiced and went away unto Elizabeth her kinswoman: and she knocked at the door. ابتهج 2 ومريم وذهبت بعيدا حتى اليزابيث قريبة لها : وانها طرقت على الباب. And Elizabeth when she heard it cast down the scarlet (al. the wool) and ran to the door and opened it, and when she saw Mary she blessed her and said: Whence is this to me that the mother of my Lord should come unto me? واليزابيث عندما سمعت انه يلقي باستمرار القرمزي (al. الصوف) وركض الى الباب وفتحه ، وعندما شاهدت مريم انها باركها وقال : اين هو هذا لي ان والدة ربي ينبغي ان يأتي ILA لي؟ for behold that which is in me leaped and blessed thee. ها ما في وبارك لي قفز اليك. And Mary forgat the mysteries which Gabriel the archangel had told her, and she looked up unto the heaven and said: Who am I, Lord, that all the generations of the earth do bless me? وماري. نسيت الأسرار التي جبرائيل رئيس الملائكة قد أخبرها ، وقالت إنها تتطلع يصل حتى السماء ، وقال : من أنا ، يا رب ، ان جميع الاجيال من الارض لا يبارك لي؟
3 And she abode three months with Elizabeth, and day by day her womb grew: and Mary was afraid and departed unto her house and hid herself from the children of Israel. 3 وكانت الاقامة ثلاثة اشهر مع اليزابيث ، ويوما بعد يوم نمت رحمها : ومريم وكان خائفا حتى غادرت منزلها واخفت نفسها من بني إسرائيل. Now she was sixteen years old when these mysteries came to pass. وقالت إنها الآن ستة عشر عاما من العمر عندما جاءت هذه الأسرار لتمرير.
2 And Joseph arose from off the sackcloth and called Mary and said unto her O thou that wast cared for by God, why hast thou done this? (2) وجوزيف نشأت من قبالة قماش الخيش ودعت مريم وقالوا لها انت يا التي جملت الرعاية من قبل الله ، لماذا يمتلك انت فعلت هذا؟ thou hast forgotten the Lord thy God. يمتلك انت نسيت الرب إلهك. Why hast thou humbled thy soul, thou that wast nourished up in the Holy of Holies and didst receive food at the hand of an angel? لماذا انت يمتلك بالتواضع خاصتك الروح ، انت ان ما يصل يتغذى جملت في قدس الأقداس وشكيت الحصول على الغذاء ، على يد الملاك؟
3 But she wept bitterly, saying: I am pure and I know not a man. 3 ولكن بكى بمرارة انها قائلا : إنني نقي وأنا لا أعرف رجلا. And Joseph said unto her: Whence then is that which is in thy womb? وقال جوزيف بمعزل لها : من أين إذن ما في بطنك؟ and she said: As the Lord my God liveth, I know not whence it is come unto me. وقالت : حي هو الرب إلهي ، لا أعرف أين هو حان ILA لي.
2 And behold an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying: Fear not this child, for that which is in her is of the Holy Ghost, and she shall bear a son and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. بدا 2 وها الملاك من اللورد ILA له في حلم قائلا : لا خوف هذا الطفل ، لأنه هو الذي في بلدها هي من الاشباح المقدسة ، وانها سوف تحمل ابنها وانت انت سوف تدعو اسمه يسوع ، لأنه يخلص شعبه من خطاياهم. And Joseph arose from sleep and glorified the God of Israel which had shown this favour unto her: and he watched over her. ونشأ يوسف من النوم وتمجيد اله اسرائيل الذي أظهر هذه صالح بمعزل لها : وشاهده أكثر من بلدها.
2 And he went hastily to the priest and said unto him: Joseph, to whom thou bearest witness [that he is righteous] hath sinned grievously. 2 وذهب على عجل الى الكاهن وقال له : جوزيف ، لمن أنت الشاهد bearest [انه الصالحين] هاث أخطأ بشكل شديد. And the priest said: Wherein? وقال الكاهن : أين نضمن؟ And he said: The virgin whom he received out of the temple of the Lord, he hath defiled her, and married her by stealth (lit. stolen her marriage), and hath not declared it to the children of Israel. وقال : العذراء التي تلقاها منهم من هيكل الرب ، وقال انه هاث مدنس بلدها ، وتزوجها خلسة (رشدة المسروقة زواجها) ، وأعلنت أنها لا هاث لبني اسرائيل. And the priest answered and said: Hath Joseph done this? وأجاب الكاهن وقال : جوزيف هاث فعلت هذا؟ And Annas the scribe said: Send officers, and thou shalt find the virgin great with child. وقالت حنان الكاتب : إرسال ضباط ، وانت سوف تجد العذراء مع الطفل الكبير. And the officers went and found as he had said, and they brought her together with Joseph unto the place of judgement. وذهب ضباط وجدت كما قال ، وأحضروا لها جنبا إلى جنب مع جوزيف ILA مكان الحكم.
3 And the priest said: Mary, wherefore hast thou done this, and wherefore hast thou humbled thy soul and forgotten the Lord thy God, thou that wast nurtured in the Holy of Holies and didst receive food at the hand of an angel and didst hear the hymns and didst dance before the Lord, wherefore hast thou done this? 3 وقال الكاهن : ماري ، ولهذا السبب يمتلك انت فعلت هذا ، ولهذا السبب انت ويمتلك خاصتك الروح بالتواضع ونسوا الرب إلهك ، أنت التي جملت ترعرعت في قدس الأقداس وشكيت الحصول على الغذاء في يد الملاك وسماع بآلامك التراتيل والرقص بآلامك أمام الرب ، ولهذا السبب انت يمتلك عمله هذا؟
But she wept bitterly, saying: As the Lord my God liveth I am pure before him and I know not a man. بل إنها بكت بمرارة قائلا : كما الرب الهي حي هو إنني نقي أمامه وأنا لا أعرف رجلا.
4 And the priest said unto Joseph: Wherefore hast thou done this? وقال الكاهن 4 وحتى يوسف : ولهذا السبب انت يمتلك عمله هذا؟ And Joseph said: As the Lord my God liveth I am pure as concerning her. وقال يوسف : كما الرب الهي حي هو إنني نقي كما يتعلق بها. And the priest said: Bear no false witness but speak the truth: thou hast married her by stealth and hast not declared it unto the children of Israel, and hast not bowed thine head under the mighty hand that thy seed should be blessed. وقال الكاهن : لا تحمل شهادة الزور ولكن قول الحقيقة : انت يمتلك تزوجها خلسة ويمتلك لم تعلن انها ILA بني اسرائيل ، ويمتلك رئيس ذين لا انحنى تحت يد الأقوياء أن نسلك المباركة. And Joseph held his peace. واجرى جوزف سلامه.
2 And the priest took thereof and made Joseph drink and sent him into the hill-country. 2 وأخذت منه الكاهن وقدم جوزيف الشراب وبعث اليه في تلة البلد. And he returned whole. وعاد كله. He made Mary also drink and sent her into the hill-country. وقال انه مريم أيضا شرب وبعث بها إلى البلاد ، التل. And she returned whole. وعادت كلها. And all the people marvelled, because sin appeared not in them. وتعجب كل الناس ، لأن الخطيئة لا يبدو فيها.
3 And the priest said: If the Lord God hath not made your sin manifest, neither do I condemn you. 3 وقال الكاهن : إذا كان الرب الاله هاث لا تقدم واضح الخاص الخطيئة ، لا أقوم ندين لكم. And he let them go. وكان السماح لهم بالرحيل. And Joseph took Mary and departed unto his house rejoicing, and glorifying the God of Israel. واتخذ جوزيف ماري وغادرت منزله حتى الابتهاج ، وتمجيد اله اسرائيل.
2 And he saddled the she-ass, and set her upon it, and his son led it and Joseph followed after. مثقلة 2 وقال انه كانت الحمار ، وتعيين لها عليه ، وابنه يوسف وأدى ذلك اتبعت بعد. And they drew near (unto Bethlehem) within three miles: and Joseph turned himself about and saw her of a sad countenance and said within himself: Peradventure that which is within her paineth her. ولفت أنهم القريب (حتى بيت لحم) في غضون ثلاثة اميال : وجوزيف تحولت عن نفسه ورآها من سيماء الحزن وقال في نفسه : ما هو Peradventure داخل paineth منعها. And again Joseph turned himself about and saw her laughing, and said unto her: Mary, what aileth thee that I see thy face at one time laughing and at another time sad? ومرة اخرى جوزيف تحولت عن نفسه ورأى يضحك لها ، وقال لها : ماري ، ما aileth اليك أن أرى وجهك في وقت واحد يضحك وحزينة في وقت آخر؟ And Mary said unto Joseph: It is because I behold two peoples with mine eyes, the one weeping and lamenting and the other rejoicing and exulting. وقالت ماري جوزيف بمعزل : إنه لأني ها الشعبين مع عيني ، واحد البكاء والرثاء وغيرها من الابتهاج والإغتباط.
3 And they came to the midst of the way, and Mary said unto him: Take me down from the ass, for that which is within me presseth me, to come forth. 3 وجاء أنهم في وسط الطريق ، ومريم فقال له : خذني إلى أسفل من الحمار ، لأنه هو الذي ضمن لي presseth لي ، ليخرج. And he took her down from the ass and said unto her: Whither shall I take thee to hide thy shame? وتولى من روعها والحمار فقال لها : إلى أين سأعتبر اليك لاخفاء العار خاصتك؟ for the place is desert. بالنسبة للمكان هو الصحراء.
2 Now I Joseph was walking, and I walked not. كان 2 أنا الآن جوزيف المشي ، ومشيت لا. And I looked up to the air and saw the air in amazement. ونظرت إلى الهواء ورأى في الهواء في ذهول. And I looked up unto the pole of the heaven and saw it standing still, and the fowls of the heaven without motion. وبحثت حتى يصل قطب السماء ورأى أنه لا يزال قائما ، والطيور من السماء دون حركة. And I looked upon the earth and saw a dish set, and workmen lying by it, and their hands were in the dish: and they that were chewing chewed not, and they that were lifting the food lifted it not, and they that put it to their mouth put it not thereto, but the faces of all of them were looking upward. وبدا لي على الأرض ورأيت مجموعة الطبق ، والعمال الكذب بها ، وكانت ايديهم في الصحن : وانها ان كانت تمضغ العلكة لا ، وانها ان كانت المواد الغذائية رفع رفعه لا ، وانهم ان وضعه على أفواههم وضعه لا بها ، ولكن وجوه كل منهم كانوا يبحثون التصاعدي. And behold there were sheep being driven, and they went not forward but stood still; and the shepherd lifted his hand to smite them with his staff, and his hand remained up. وها هناك الأغنام طردهم ، وذهبوا إلى الأمام ولكن لا زال قائما ، والراعي يرفع يده الى اضرب لهم مع موظفيه ، ويده لا تزال تصل. And I looked upon the stream of the river and saw the mouths of the kids upon the water and they drank not. وكنت قد بحثت على مجرى النهر ورأى افواه الاطفال على الماء ، وأنهم لا يشربون. And of a sudden all things moved onward in their course. وفجأة انتقل فصاعدا كل شيء في مسارها.
And the midwife said unto him: Is this the truth? وقالت القابلة له : هل هذه هي الحقيقة؟ And Joseph said unto her: Come hither and see. وقال جوزيف بمعزل لها : تعالوا وانظروا. And the midwife went with him. وذهب القابلة معه.
2 And they stood in the place of the cave: and behold a bright cloud overshadowing the cave. وقفت (2) وأنها في مكان الكهف : ها ومشرق سحابة يطغى الكهف. And the midwife said: My soul is magnified this day, because mine eyes have seen marvellous things: for salvation is born unto Israel. وقالت القابلة : يتم تضخيم نفسي في هذا اليوم ، لأن عيني قد رأيت أشياء رائعة : من أجل الخلاص ولدت حتى اسرائيل. And immediately the cloud withdrew itself out of the cave, and a great light appeared in the cave so that our eyes could not endure it. وانسحبت على الفور سحابة نفسها للخروج من الكهف ، ونورا عظيما ظهر في الكهف بحيث لا يمكن أن أعيننا تحمل ذلك. And by little and little that light withdrew itself until the young child appeared: and it went and took the breast of its mother Mary. وقليلا قليلا ، وعلى ضوء ذلك انسحبت نفسها حتى الطفل الصغير يبدو : وذهب وأخذ ثدي أمه مريم.
And the midwife cried aloud and said: Great unto me to-day is this day, in that ! وصرخ بصوت عال والقابلة قال : فقال لي العظمى ليوم كهذا اليوم ، في ذلك! have seen this new sight. وقد شهدت هذا المشهد الجديد.
3 And the midwife went forth of the cave and Salome met her. 3 وذهب اليها القابلة للكهف و Salome اجتمع لها. And she said to her: Salome, Salome, a new sight have I to tell thee. وقالت لها : سالومي ، سالومي ، وهو مشهد جديد يكون لي أن أقول لك. A virgin hath brought forth, which her nature alloweth not. ألف عذراء هاث جلبت اليها ، والتي لها طبيعة alloweth لا. And Salome said: As the Lord my God liveth, if I make not trial and prove her nature I will not believe that a virgin hath brought forth. وقالت سالومي : حي هو الرب إلهي ، إذا كنت لا تجعل المحاكمة ويثبت لها طابع انني لن نؤمن بأن عذراء هاث جلبت اليها.
2 And she bowed her knees unto the Lord, saying: O God of my fathers, remember that I am the seed of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob: make me not a public example unto the children of Israel, but restore me unto the poor, for thou knowest, Lord, that in thy name did I perform my cures, and did receive my hire of thee. 2 وأنها رضخت ركبتيها للرب قائلين : يا إله آبائي ، تذكر أنني بذرة ابراهيم واسحق ويعقوب : لا تجعلني مثالا العامة للرب بنو إسرائيل ، ولكن استعادة لي حتى الفقراء ، لأنك تعلم ، يا رب ، ان اسم خاصتك في اداء يشفي فعلت بي ، ولم يحصل لي من استئجار اليك.
3 And lo, an angel of the Lord appeared, saying unto her: Salome, Salome, the Lord hath hearkened to thee: bring thine hand near unto the young child and take him up, and there shall be unto thee salvation and joy. 3 والصغرى ، وظهر له ملاك الرب ، ILA قائلا لها : سالومي ، سالومي ، والرب يسمع اليك : جلب يدك ILA بالقرب من الأطفال الصغار ، واتخاذ ما يصل اليه ، ويكون هناك ILA اليك الخلاص والفرح.
4 And Salome came near and took him up, saying: I will do him worship, for a great king is born unto Israel. 4 وجاء سالومي قرب وأخذ عنه ، وقال : سأفعل له العبادة ، ليولد الملك العظيم حتى اسرائيل. And behold immediately Salome was healed: and she went forth of the cave justified. وها فورا شفي سالومي : وذهبت اليها من كهف ما يبرره. And Io, a voice saying: Salome, Salome, tell none of the marvels which thou hast seen, until the child enter into Jerusalem. وايو ، وصوت قائلا : سالومي ، سالومي ، ونقول أيا من الاعاجيب التي انت يمتلك ينظر ، حتى الطفل بالدخول في القدس.
2 And when Herod heard it he was troubled and sent officers unto the wise men. 2 ولما سمع هيرودس كان منزعج وأرسل ضباط بمعزل الحكماء. And he sent for the high priests and examined them, saying: How is it written concerning the Christ, where he is born? وبعث لرؤساء الكهنة ودرست لهم ، قائلا : كيف يتم مكتوبة بشأن المسيح ، حيث ولادته؟ They say unto him: In Bethlehem of Judaea: for so it is written. فقالوا له : في بيت لحم اليهودية : لذلك هو مكتوب. And he let them go. وكان السماح لهم بالرحيل. And he examined the wise men, saying unto them: What sign saw ye concerning the king that is born? ودرس الحكماء ، وقال لهم : ما علامة شهدت يي يتعلق الملك أن يولد؟ And the wise men said: We saw a very great star shining among those stars and dimming them so that the stars appeared not: and thereby knew we that a king was born unto Israel, and we came to worship him. وقال الحكماء : شاهدنا نجما ساطعا كبيرة جدا بين هؤلاء النجوم ويعتم عليها حتى لا تبدو النجوم : وبالتالي نحن نعرف أنه ولد ملك حتى إسرائيل ، وأتينا لنسجد له. And Herod said: Go and seek for him, and if ye find him, tell me, that I also may come and worship him. وقال هيرودس : اذهب ويسعى له ، وإذا كنتم العثور عليه ، قل لي ، كما انني قد حان والعبادة له.
3 And the wise men went forth. ذهب (3) والحكماء إيابا. And lo, the star which they saw in the east went before them until they entered into the cave: and it stood over the head of the cave. وذهبت الصغرى ، والنجم الذي رأوه في الشرق قبلهم حتى انها دخلت الكهف : وقفت على رأسه من الكهف. And the wise men saw the young child with Mary, his mother: and they brought out of their scrip gifts, gold-and frankincense and myrrh. ورأى الحكماء الصبي مع مريم أمه : وهم الذين أخرجوا من الهدايا على السهم ، والذهب واللبان والمر.
4 And being warned by the angel that they should not enter into Judaea, they went into their own country by another way. 4 وتحذيره من قبل الملاك أنهم لا ينبغي أن يدخل في اليهودية ، وذهبوا الى بلادهم عن طريق وسيلة أخرى.
2 And when Mary heard that the children were being slain, she was afraid, and took the young child and wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid him in an ox-manger. 2 وكانت مريم عندما سمعت أن يجري قتل الأطفال ، والخوف ، وأخذ الأطفال الصغار وملفوفة في ثياب التقميط ووضعوه في المذود ، الثور.
3 But Elizabeth when she heard that they sought for John, took him and went up into the hill-country and looked about her where she should hide him: and there was no hiding-place. استغرق 3 اليزابيث ولكن عندما سمعت ان الذين سعوا لجون ، وصعد معه الى البلاد ، وبدا تلة عنها حيث أنها ينبغي أن يخفي له : وليس هناك مكان اختباء. And Elizabeth groaned and said with a loud voice: 0 mountain of God, receive thou a mother with a child. واليزابيث مانون ، وقال بصوت عال : 0 جبال الله ، انت تتلقى الأم مع الطفل. For Elizabeth was not able to go up. كانت إليزابيث ليست قادرة على الصعود. And immediately the mountain clave asunder and took her in. And there was a light shining alway for them: for an angel of the Lord was with them, keeping watch over them. وعلى الفور الجبال العصا اربا وأخذها فيها وكان هناك ضوء ساطع الواي لهم : لملاك الرب كان معهم ، وتراقب عليها.
2 And the officers departed and told Herod all these things. (2) وغادرت المكتب وقال هيرودس كل هذه الأشياء. And Herod was wroth and said: His son is to be king over Israel. وكان هيرودس غضب وقال : هو ابنه ليكون ملكا على اسرائيل. And he sent unto him again, saying: Say the truth: where is thy son? وبعث ILA له مرة أخرى ، قائلا : قول الحقيقة : أين ابنك؟ for thou knowest that thy blood is under my hand. لأنك تعلم أن الدم خاصتك تحت يدي. And the officers departed and told him all these things. وغادرت المكتب وقال له : كل هذه الأشياء.
3 And Zacharias said: I am a martyr of God if thou sheddest my blood: for my spirit the Lord shah receive, because thou sheddest innocent blood in the fore-court of the temple of the Lord. 3 وقال زكريا : أنا شهيد الله اذا انت sheddest دمي : بلدي لروح الرب استقبال الشاه ، وذلك لأن الدم انت sheddest الأبرياء في المحكمة الصدارة لمعبد الرب.
And about the dawning of the day Zacharias was slain. وحول بزوغ فجر اليوم الذي قتل زكريا. And the children of Israel knew not that he was slain. وعرف بنو إسرائيل لا أن القتيل كان.
2 But as he delayed to come, they were all afraid: and one of them took courage and entered in: and he saw beside the altar congealed blood: and a voice saying: Zacharias hath been slain, and his blood shall not be wiped out until his avenger come. 2 ولكنهم كانوا لأنه تأخر قادمة ، كل خائف : واحد منهم أخذ شجاعة ودخلت في : ورأى بجانب مذبح الاكرم الدم : وصوت قائلا : هاث تم قتل زكريا ، ويجب ألا يكون دمه محا حتى يأتي له المنتقم. And when he heard that word he was afraid, and went forth and told the priests. وعندما سمع تلك الكلمة كان خائفا ، وذهب اليها وقال للكهنة.
3 And they took courage and went in and saw that which was done: and the panels of the temple did wail: and they rent their clothes from the top to the bottom. استغرق 3 والشجاعة وأنها ذهبت ورأيت في ذلك الذي حدث : وألواح الهيكل لم ائل : وانهم الايجار ملابسهم من أعلى إلى أسفل. And his body they found not, but his blood they found turned into stone. وجدوا جثته لا ، ولكن دمه وجدوا تحولت الى حجر. And they feared, and went forth and told all the people that Zacharias was slain. ويخشى عليها ، وذهب اليها وقال جميع الشعب الذي كان القتيل زكريا. And all the tribes of the people heard it, and they mourned for him and lamented him three days and three nights. واستمعت إلى جميع القبائل من الشعب لها ، وأنها نعى له ورثى له ثلاثة ايام وثلاث ليال. And after the three days the priests took counsel whom they should set in his stead: and the lot came up upon Symeon. وبعد ثلاثة أيام أخذ المحامي الكهنة الذين يتعين عليهم تعيين عوضا عنه : وجاء الكثير عند سمعان. Now he it was which was warned by the Holy Ghost that he should not see death until he should see the Christ in the flesh. الآن كان ما قيل وحذر من الاشباح المقدسة انه لا ينبغي أن يرى الموت حتى انه يجب ان نرى المسيح في الجسد.
Glorifying the Lord God which gave me the gift, and the wisdom to write this history. تمجيد الرب الاله الذي اعطاني هدية ، والحكمة على كتابة هذا التاريخ.
2 And grace shall be with those that fear our Lord Jesus Christ: to whom be glory for ever and ever. 2 نعمة ويكون مع تلك التي تخشى ربنا يسوع المسيح : الذي له المجد إلى أبد الآبدين. Amen. آمين.
