3 And the midwife went forth of the cave and Salome met her.3 Y la partera salió de la cueva y Salomé, la conocí.And she said to her: Salome, Salome, a new sight have I to tell thee.Y ella le dijo: Salomé, Salomé, una nueva vista tengo que decirte.A virgin hath brought forth, which her nature alloweth not.Una virgen ha dado a luz, que su naturaleza no se aprueba.And Salome said: As the Lord my God liveth, if I make not trial and prove her nature I will not believe that a virgin hath brought forth.Y Salomé dijo: Como el Señor mi Dios vive, si no hacer la prueba y demostrar su naturaleza no creeré que una virgen ha traído.
2 And she bowed her knees unto the Lord, saying: O God of my fathers, remember that I am the seed of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob: make me not a public example unto the children of Israel, but restore me unto the poor, for thou knowest, Lord, that in thy name did I perform my cures, and did receive my hire of thee.2 Y se inclinó de rodillas al Señor, diciendo: ¡Oh Dios de mis padres, recuerda que yo soy la semilla de Abraham, Isaac y Jacob: no me di por ejemplo público de los hijos de Israel, pero me restaurar a los pobres, ya sabes tú, Señor, que tu nombre se llevo a cabo mi cura, y no recibir mi salario de ti.
3 And lo, an angel of the Lord appeared, saying unto her: Salome, Salome, the Lord hath hearkened to thee: bring thine hand near unto the young child and take him up, and there shall be unto thee salvation and joy.3 Y he aquí un ángel del Señor se le apareció, diciendo a ella: Salomé, Salomé, el Señor ha escuchado a ti: llevar tu mano hasta cerca de los niños pequeños y lo llevan para arriba, y no habrá salvación para ti y la alegría.

2 And when Herod heard it he was troubled and sent officers unto the wise men.2 Y cuando Herodes oyó que estaba preocupado y envió agentes a los hombres sabios. 3 And Zacharias said: I am a martyr of God if thou sheddest my blood: for my spirit the Lord shah receive, because thou sheddest innocent blood in the fore-court of the temple of the Lord.3 Y Zacarías dijo: Yo soy un mártir de Dios, si tú sheddest mi sangre: para mi espíritu el shah Señor recibir, porque tú sheddest sangre inocente en un primer plano de la cancha del templo del Señor.
And about the dawning of the day Zacharias was slain.Y sobre el amanecer del día Zacarías fue asesinado.And the children of Israel knew not that he was slain.Y los hijos de Israel no sabía que estaba muerto.
2 But as he delayed to come, they were all afraid: and one of them took courage and entered in: and he saw beside the altar congealed blood: and a voice saying: Zacharias hath been slain, and his blood shall not be wiped out until his avenger come.2 Pero como él tardaba, todos tenían miedo, y uno de ellos se armó de valor y entró en: y vio al lado del altar, la sangre coagulada, y una voz que decía: Zacarías ha sido asesinado, y su sangre no serán eliminados hasta su vengador venir.And when he heard that word he was afraid, and went forth and told the priests.Y cuando se enteró de que la palabra tenía miedo, y salió y dijo a los sacerdotes.
